Therapy for Growth-Oriented Women
Support for navigating anxiety, attachment, purpose, and relationships.
Grace Tobin, LMFT
You are welcome here.
If you’re struggling with anxiety, relationship or attachment patterns, indecisiveness, or deeper questions about your identity and purpose, you may already understand a great deal about yourself and still find yourself pulled toward familiar patterns.
There can absolutely be a frustrating distance between understanding ourselves and actually feeling free to live differently.
Insight can bring enormous relief and clarity and is an important element of therapy, yet sometimes understanding why isn’t enough. My work is interested in creating a bridge between insight and meaningful, embodied change.
Our work brings your history, your mind and your body into the conversation– creating space to question what you have inherited, soften the patterns that keep you bound, and become more aligned with your intuition.
As that relationship with yourself deepens, so does your freedom to move through the world from a place of greater trust and inner knowing, making room for more creativity, connection, pleasure, and aliveness.
My Specialties
My therapy practice is a space for growth-oriented women who want to love themselves and others more fully.
Women who wish to not only understand themselves and their patterns, but are ready to go deeper – to create meaningful change and live with greater alignment between who they are, what they value, and how they move through the world.
-
Relationships have a way of bringing our deepest patterns to the surface. Therapy offers a place to explore attachment, intimacy, conflict, boundaries, and the early relational experiences that continue to shape how we love and allow ourselves to be loved.

Anxiety is experienced not only in the mind, but in the nervous system. I believe learning to work with the nervous system is an essential part of healing and liberation. My approach integrates somatic therapy to deepen awareness of anxiety as a felt experience while expanding the nervous system’s capacity for safety and regulation.

Questions of meaning, identity, purpose, mortality, belonging, and how we want to spend our time here are deeply human. Existential therapy makes room for these questions and the mystery that comes with them, helping us orient toward a life that feels increasingly meaningful and our own.

My approach to couples therapy integrates the Gottman Method with attachment-focused and somatic work. Communication skills are valuable, but knowing what to do is different from being able to access it when we feel hurt, threatened, or disconnected. My work emphasizes attunement and felt experience, helping couples embody new ways of relating rather than simply learning new skills.

Grace Tobin, LMFT
Hi , I’m Grace Tobin, a therapist helping growth-oriented women understand the deeper patterns behind their anxiety, relationships, and sense of self so they can create more authentic lives and relationships.
I believe our struggles have something valuable to teach us. In a world that leaves little room for stillness and inner attention, our bodies and psyches have ways of asking us to listen.
I see mental health struggles as spiritual opportunities– places where greater meaning, self-knowledge and transformation can emerge.
For me, therapy is ultimately in service of becoming more psychologically whole. As we bring what has been hidden or unconscious into greater awareness, we have an opportunity to meet ourselves with more honesty and compassion, loosen what no longer serves us, and deepen our capacity to love and be loved.
I see this work as an invitation toward a life of greater meaning, connection, freedom, and reverence for the strange and beautiful experience of being human.
Therapy With Me Is

Starting Therapy Together
01
A free 15-minute consultation gives us a chance to connect, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for whether working together feels like a good fit.
02
We’ll schedule an initial session with more time to explore your history, current concerns, and what you hope to understand or experience differently through therapy.
03
Therapy begins from there. We’ll begin with weekly sessions to explore your story, clarify what’s no longer working, and begin gaining traction on your goals.
